Homework & Research Help Is A Click Away

If you need sources for the report that's due soon, the National City Library has a wealth of sources available to use from any computer, tablet or phone and all you need is your library card. To access the resources all you need to do is click on the Electronic Databases link on the left hand side of the website.

If you're doing a book report, try using the database MagillOnLiterature Plus for plot summaries, critical analysis and author biographies.

If you want a overview on a subject, try one of our online encyclopedias, in English and Spanish. Find out facts and figures from reliable sources and not from the first search result on Google or Wikipedia.

Is your subject a health or science based topic? The library has you covered with health databases in English and Spanish and science databases that has full text from hundreds of reliable journals, books, science magazines and other sources.

Those are only a few that we have for you to use. We also have databases to help you find a job, for fixing automobiles, researching your ancestry, or for taking different types of tests (from the ASVAB to math reviews and everything in between).

And regardless of your grade level, the library has databases for students from elementary to college.
