We match adult learners with trained tutors for one-on-one or small group sessions.

Literacy Computer Lab
The Literacy Computer Lab is a special computer lab for adult literacy learners. The lab includes access to Mavis Beacon Typing, Lexia Strategies, Ultimate Phonics, Rosetta Stone, Math Tutor, and Learning Express. The lab is open during Literacy Office hours.

Literacy Meeting Room
The conference room can be reserved for small study groups catering to Adult Literacy needs.  Call our office to reserve the room.

 Distance Learning
 Literacy Services is expanding to offer distance learning, a learn from the comfort of your home program with a tutor via online tutoring. All subjects and classes are available for distance learning. We even offer our services to help you get started every step of the way from getting setup and even loaning out resources needed for distance learning.  High School Diploma Program
 Need or want your high school diploma? In partnership with the County of San Diego, Literacy Services now offers Library High School! This guided course helps you achieve a high school diploma, as well as a career certificate. This free scholarship is a great opportunity, don’t hesitate and call us to help you get started.
