Free Fire & Life Safety Education

The National City Fire Department is committed to helping our community prevent emergencies before they happen. We offer free fire prevention and life safety presentations for schools, businesses, neighborhood groups, homeowner associations, community organizations, senior centers, and other groups located in National City.

Our presentations are designed to increase fire safety awareness, promote emergency preparedness, and provide practical information that participants can use to protect themselves, their families, and their workplaces.

What to Expect

Presentations are approximately 45 minutes to one hour and may include:

• Interactive instruction
• Demonstrations
• Hands-on learning opportunities
• Questions and answers
• Age-appropriate educational materials

Our Fire Prevention educators also utilize specialized teaching tools, including the Patches & Pumper Robot and a Fire Extinguisher Training System, to make learning engaging and memorable.
