About the Parks, Recreation, & Senior Citizens Advisory Board
The Parks, Recreation, & Senior Citizen Advisory Board acts in an advisory capacity to the City Council in matters of policy and administration of city owned parks and the recreation programs operated within the parks and recreation centers; investigates and reports on related matters as referred by the Council; and submits recommendations to Council on relative subjects which the Board deems important.
The Board is comprised of National City residents. Board Meetings are open to the public and are held on the 3rd Thursday of every month at 4:00 p.m. in the Large Conference Room in City Hall, 1243 National City Blvd, National City, CA 91950.
