Kimball Neighborhood Council meeting

 April Presentations:

A Reason to Survive (ARTS) will lead a discussion about the future of the ARTS Center, Kimball Rec Center, and a larger vision for creating a Creative Community Hub in Kimball Park.

ARTS will be convening community members over the next 3-4 months to have these conversations, listen to residents and families, gather input, and in the early summer produce a concept and overall vision which we will be put into a grant application to fund renovation and new construction to realize this collective vision.

Students from SDSU will be distributing Community Wellness Survey to help identify what is working and what improvement opportunities exist to improve the community's health!

 WHAT ARE THE NEIGHBORHOOD COUNCILS?

Regular monthly meetings are held in each of the three Neighborhood Councils and are open to the public.  Agenda topics are driven by resident requests, current events, and a desire by the City to keep residents informed on new programs and upcoming developments.

Time is set aside in each meeting so that residents may bring up issues of concern to their neighborhood.  Meetings are usually attended by code enforcement, police and fire officials, as well as members of the City Council when available.

There are no boundary restrictions for the Neighborhood Council program, you are welcome to attend any meeting.
